I really, really….really like brunch weddings. There is something about the mood that floats around in the air during a morning wedding. I can still remember how I definitely got the “giddies” as I was driving up to the St. George’s Golf and Country Club in Toronto as the sun was starting to cast across the spring tulips. I knew right away it was going to be a good day! I walked through the club quietly to find the ladies (so early in the morning, you kind of feel like tip-toeing as someone might still be asleep somewhere), but quickly found Rebecca and her bridesmaids in full swing getting ready for the day with coffee and croissants close by.
Rebecca and David met in the States where she was studying to get a Master’s degree (we won’t get started on the accomplishments of these two!). They met, fell in love, and got engaged relatively quickly because their love was so sure. Many family members were meeting either David or Rebecca for the first time at the wedding! They were so excited about this day because of the gift of being able to share their love with their families all together.
Once everyone was dressed and ready to go, things got very classy. Rebecca looks amazing in a her oh-so-light-and-dainty wedding dress (from Anthropologie’s bridal line BHLDN). And I have to take a moment to let you know that throughout the day as I was fixing up her dress to look ‘just so’ in photos, I can personally attest to it feeling just as light as it looks. It was amazing. And those men look ‘hot dang’ in those uniforms! You will notice all of the men are in uniform, and that’s because they are all members of the US Air Force as pilots and engineers! Talk about an impressive collective resume with this wedding party!
Enjoy this classy morning affair as you sift through this St. George’s Golf and Country Club Wedding!
